Dear Pedro and Eyal,
We miss you already! We made it home yesterday with no drama (it was rather boring!). The flights were uneventful and smooth, and all our luggage made it back as well. We missed talking with you this morning and sipping that wonderful Caribe coffee. We can't thank you enough for making our first (but not last) trip to Cozumel one we will always cherish. We are sincere when we say that meeting and getting to know the two of you was the best part of our vacation. Please keep in touch - we hope to stay with you again soon.
Jackie and Scott. May / 2005
Good morning Eyal
My family and me were your guest last January. I'm writing from Italy, Livorno cruise terminal.
We remember your kindness and, thinking on Mexico tour, our accommodation in las anclas was one of the best!
let me leave you this message in Italian for your next italian guests...
Eyal,
As anticipated, it has been very hectic since getting back from Cozumel after having been gone for a week, so I am a little late in getting this to you.
Diane and I just wanted to express our sincere appreciation for your wonderful hospitality while staying with you. Las Anclas was just perfect for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We also enjoyed talking with you, and for your taking the time to make us feel welcome and a part of Cozumel (even if it is a third world country).
I can assure that we will definitely stay with you again on our next trip to Cozumel (whenever that may be), and will recommend you to any of our friends who will be headed that direction.
Again, thank you for everything!
PS. In case anyone else asks, there is no post office to mail post cards from at the airport.
Sincerely,
Rick & Diane. May / 2005
Dear Eyal and Pedro,
Hope you are well and happy. Hope you had another fine visit to India, Pedro. Hope you did not miss him too much. Our message on the trip reports web site does not express our heart felt thanks to both of you. We were so happy to spend time with you in your extended home. We actually felt more like friends than like guests. Don’t know if saying that on the web sites would be too mushy or overdone. But that’s the truth and muchos gracias for that.
Thanks for teaching us some Spanish, Pedro and for sharing your “repeaters”, with us. We enjoyed visiting with Della and Doug, Gary and Patty, and Jack and Jan.
Thanks Eyal, for introducing us to the drink Jamaica, for the ride in your Jag and showing us your beautiful Island. Thanks for entertaining us with the interactions between you two. We laughed so much with you, and that is very healthy. Thanks for inviting us (and Teresa, who unfortunately just left) to your party, even though we’d already moved out. We enjoyed the food, guests and Pedro’s Black Label (Rudy). Thanks, Pedro, for driving us to, and buying with us the Paella and cochinita pibil. Eyal, for showing us that not all vegetarians are humorless, boring, bland and shrunken (Of course, Teresa demonstrates that for us so well, always). Thanks too, Eyal, for hooking us up with Teresa by computer telephone, and emails in early January and for joining with us for supper at Pancho’s Backyard. You are both very generous we found: with your time, help, advice, knowledge, experiences, concern, patience, humor, energy and spirits. You are hard working wonderful folks.
See, we couldn't put all that on the travel feedback website or you would be overrun with reservations requests from spirituality pursuing new age bores.
Too bad we’re not divers, or we’d see you again real soon. Take good care of yourselves. Keep enjoying life. We are, eh.
Roobarb, Canada. January / 2005
Dear Eyal,
Just a note to express our thanks to you for your hospitality during our stay. You made us feel right at home from the start. The rooms are beautiful and the courtyard made us feel like we were in our own backyard. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Cozumel and are recommending you to all of our friends. We hope Pedro had a great trip to India and we hope to meet him the next time.
Debbi & Ray Shields, Pfafftown, NC, USA. April / 2005
Hi Eyal
I enjoyed myself immensely in cozumel and at your property.
Thanks for the hospitality,
Suzie. April / 2005
Dear Pedro and Eyal,
Just a quick note to say thank you for 5 glorious nights are your villas. I just wrote a 5 star review of my stay with you both. I miss the friendliness and the beautiful weather. Hope to see you both in the future.
Sincerely,
Jim Heinz. March / 2005
Hola Pedro and Eyal!
We got to Merida with no problems and stopped at Chichen Itza on the way. Merida is a wonderful town. Great music, food and culture. Thanks again for all your help in getting us this far. It was simply invaluable.
We feel so lucky to have met you. We will never forget your warmth, kindness and generosity. We really enjoyed our stay at your place and look forward to seeing you again.
We hope you are well. Thanks again for everything.
Warm regards,
Aaron & Glenn. January / 2005
Eyal y Pedro:
Thank you so much for a fabulous time this past week at Las Anclas. John and I found the suite to be beautiful and so well cared for; we especially enjoyed the variety of towel-folding designs! We will definitely be back to stay with you, and hopefully at a time when the winds will be calmer and we can take the snorkeling trip from Caribe Blu. The two of you make a great team!
Thank you again,
Maria and John. January / 2005
Hello,
I would like to thank both of you for all your help and assistance.
If it wasn't for you guys I would have no doubt have not experienced cozumel so amazingly.
Thanks again for the emergency wake up call!! and the ride to the airport. Thanks again and i hope to see you in the summer!
Best wishes and regards,
David Dimitriou, England. September / 2004
Dear Pedro and Eyal,
Our visit was absolutely wonderful (as always!). So much so, trying to arrange another trip in the next couple of months. Once a year enjoying your charming Villas is simply not enough. It is like being in another world, though right in the middle of the island and a short walk to shopping, beach, and clubs (though evenings are better spent under the almond tree!)
Much love to you both, and will contact you when I have some firm dates.
Marsa Highower, TX. September / 2004
Hi everyone,
(A letter sent to the "Lonely Planet" Travel Guide)
We found this great place in your guide book for the Yucatan. The owner is a charming guy and he offered us the room for the price indicated in your book although he said, this had been a special price for the time during his opening season.
The hotel is located in the center area and has very nice 2 floor apartments. It's quiet and clean and well run. On our next trip to Cozumel we will sure give him a call for a reservation!
Kind regards,
Jean-Claude, Zurich, Switzerland. September / 2004
April / 2004
Hello Pedro and Eyal,
Again, many thanks for a most enjoyable stay at the intimate, friendly Villa Las Anclas. While the accommodations are wonderful, the hosts are even better. You know how to make people feel welcome. We arrived home to snow and it is snowing today. What a difference a plane ride makes. Now we are back to work to earn more money so we can play some more.
Thanks so much. You two are special.
Kay & Marlin Phil. January / 2004
Thanks again for the wonderful vacation. After staying with you last year, we returned with high expectations and weren't disappointed! The suite and garden were beautiful. We are so impressed with Pedro, Eyal, and Patty who did so much to make every moment wonderful, starting with the detailed and accurate instructions getting in from Cancun, The daily delights with special flower and linen creations, super clean rooms and ending with the immediate and special rescue when our luggage broke an hour before we had to leave for the airport. Pedro, you literally saved our day with your "Three Solutions". We look forward to returning to Villa Las Anclas. Marlyn and I are counting down the days until we return.
Ralph & Marlyn. January / 2004
Dear Eyal and Pedro
This is belated (its already Valentine's Day!), but we wanted to tell you that we had a great time at Las Anclas in December. The planes were actually quite empty on Christmas Eve. We enjoyed meeting you both, and appreciated the changes you have made at Las Anclas. And we still tell friends about the wonderful washcloth creations. How are the beards coming? Despite your doubts, Eyal, I thought yours looked great -- you wore it as if it was a lifelong habit. We hope to see you next winter.
Best wishes,
Tom & Linda December / 2003
Dear Pedro and Eyal
...Just wanted to send a quick thanks for the wonderful hospitality over the past week. You guys are the best. Look for the Trip advisor review in about a week or so.
Take care.
Michael & Angie. November / 2003
Hi Eyal & Pedro,
We had a wonderful time at your Villa. I just sent an email to my friends telling them about our trip. I told them all about your hotel and how wonderful it is. It was very nice to meet you both.
Hope to see you again soon.
Gladys & Tim. October / 2003
Dear Pedro and Eyal,
Greetings! I'm back from my trip finally, and writing up all of the details. It was great to meet you both, and thanks again so much for all your help during my visit! If only I could have gotten the same help every place I went... Many thanks again I hope to see you on my next trip...whenever that will be.
Take care

Hello Eyal and Pedro,
We finally made it back to Germany, but truly wanted to stay in Mexico. We had a wonderful time! Starting with Las Anclas in Cozumel. We will be sure to recommend you to anyone thinking of going to Cozumel - that's a promise.... and thanks again for all the tips and advice.
All the best till our next visit!
Dianne & Florien, Germany. September / 2003
Dear Pedro and Eyal,
Well, we made it back to LA with no hassles. That is always a miracle. Now back to reality! Thanks for the warm welcome when I arrived in Cozumel. You both made me feel so good. It was great to see you and spend time on the island. You are both incredibly warm and nice people. I am happy to know we are friends. I hope we can stay in touch more this year. I plan to return to the island in December. (Around Dec 25) I am going to start looking into reservations now. Stay healthy and happy.
Warmly,
Linda Dance, LA. August / 2003
Eyal and Pedro,
Just wanted to drop you a line and thank you for all that you did for me while I visited Cozumel. ...All in all you made me feel welcome and very well taken care of. And Eyal, I also think you are a good man and I enjoyed hearing you talk and listening to your stories, enjoyed your company very much. Thanks again for everything and when I plan to come back to Cozumel I will send you a message.
Charles Scearcy. July / 2003
Hi. I just got home & wanted to thank u again for my stay. I only wish that I had discovered your accommodations trips ago. Clearly what u offer is incredible value for the Money, The suites are immaculate & are more than comfortable. What a pleasure to have plenty of hot water for showers! The other aspect that was important for me was that I felt totally at ease not having to "hide" things. This was clearly not the case in other hotels where I learned the hard way to lock up my laptop, cell phone, etc when I left my room. I also appreciated the fact that both of u were always around & willing to share all sorts of information with me. I'm willing to recommend & vouch for your hotel. It’s truly a gem. I planned on being selfish & not telling anyone about u so that maybe I'd have a chance of getting a room whenever I was on the island! With only 7 suites & my luck, u would always be booked when I wanted to come.
Nancy. April / 2003
Pedro and Eyal,
Just a short note to let you know we made it home safely to the land of snow and cold.
Thank you so very much Pedro and Eyal, for all of the special service. I appreciate all your help. We loved our vacation at Villas Las Anclas and look forward to returning next year. I will send some pictures in a few days after I have sorted them out.
Warmest regards,
Jerry, Phyllis, Noel & Beth Johnson. March / 2003
Dear Eyal and Pedro,
We survived another Carnival and we wish to thank you two so very much. Your villas are the best and you treat us like family. In reality, Even better than family. Eyal, your gardens rival the great botanical gardens of Hawaii and the new renovations to the baths and kitchens (although not necessarily needed by us) were wonderful. Thanks again and I attach a few photos. Pedro, this is a great picture of you. Also is a shot of my back yard as it looked last week when we returned. See you next year and please reserve two villas for us for next carnival arriving Friday and departing Thursday. We may also stop and see you in August as we plan a week diving near Cuba and will be traveling through Cancun.
Joe, Chris & Randy. Carlisle, PA. March / 2003
We have stayed at Villas Las Anclas several times but this was the first time under the new ownership. We were very pleased with all the improvements, especially the new bathrooms. Thank you so very much Pedro and Eyal, and thanks to your fine staff. We loved our vacation at villas las Anclas and look forward to returning next year.
Warmest regards,
Jerry & Phyllis, St. Paul, MN. March / 2003
Eyal and Pedro
Wish we would have been there for the valentine's party. I am using my heart shaped almond leaf as a bookmark. We are watching the Daytona 500 today - but there is a rain delay. In all seriousness, television is no longer important - especially at a place as nice as Las Anclas. Thank you for the therapy!! Feel free to contact Les if you would like some "engineering" advice. Again, thank you so much for everything and many thanks for making our recent stay in Cozumel one of our best ever! Your hospitality and high standards provided us a completely relaxed vacation. Villas Las Anclas is PERFECT in every respect. We especially enjoyed the garden and meeting wonderful new friends. It was difficult to leave. Can't wait to return. We miss you!!
Les Helm & Karen Moos (North Dakota). February / 2003
Hi all,
here is the web address: www.lasanclas.com I would like to share with you for the wonderful place we stay on our annual trips to Cozumel. Check it out. One of the things that you cannot see from the web page is the warm and friendly service we receive from the owners - Pedro & Eyal. If we did not have such a wonderful, comforting place to stay we might try another Caribbean Island, but because of Villas Las Anclas, we go back every year. This year was our 7th year and we have already booked for next year. Please do not share this too widely! I want to make sure that I can get reservations too ;-)
Rosalie, Chris & Ashley Larkin MD. February / 2003
My amigos,
Home safely after another sunny February at Las Anclas – my eleventh! Although I miss the tree that had to be cut, the garden seemed even more beautiful this year, and morning coffee with the hummingbirds is still my favorite way to start a day. I’m impressed by the way you two continue to improve the hotel that was great to begin with! You know how I feel about the nice new soundproof windows, but I also enjoyed the many small additions that add comfort to my six happy weeks with you. Thank you again for the warm welcome, the answers to my questions, the advice, and the help with all the small problems I manage to get myself into. At Las Anclas, it always seems that I’m visiting friends rather than staying at a hotel. Be sure and save a room for me next year – January 28th until March 8th.
Beth Busby. Alabama. February / 2003
Dear Pedro and Eyal:
Today we had wonderful warm weather outside and I just had to think back on our great time in Cozumel. Did I ever tell you how much we appreciated your hospitality? You did such a wonderful job with the hotel rooms. The round windows are beautiful, the bathroom is so nice and light including the matching lights by the mirror. It really felt like coming home again! Keep up the good work. We are still thinking going back this fall for some diving. In other words we will keep in touch with you! Thanks again for all the nice things you did for us. Take care! We miss you two!
Hanalore & John, North Dakota. February / 2003
Eyal and Pedro
I realize this is early to be making resolutions for 2004, but we can't think of any where else we would rather spend a month next winter. We want to reserve a suite for the 16 of February thru the 16 of March.... Thanks again for a great place to stay.
Doug & Della Brunt. February / 2003
Eyal and Pedro
We want to thank you both for helping make our recent trip to Cozumel the most memorable of all. The old adage, "It's not where you are, it's who you're with", was never truer than at Villas Las Anclas. In this case, the "who" are Eyal and Pedro, as well as the interesting and diverse guests who have discovered your hotel? You obviously take great care and a special pride in making sure your guests are happy, comfortable, and reluctant to leave (as we were). The "where you are" (your hotel) was also great: spacious rooms, spotlessly clean, and comfortably furnished for a couple nights or several weeks; the delightful shaded garden area for snacks, drinks, and socializing. The location is ideal: walking distance to the main plaza, the dive boat piers, and the large supermarket--no need for a car or taxis except to and from the airport. Thanks again we'll see you next year and will definitely recommend Villa Las Anclas to our Cozumel-bound friends.
Gary & Patty, Dusenberry Bellevue, WA. February / 2003
.... We had a lot of fun with you two and we hope to stay there again soon. We are very grateful for all that you have done for us. We will recommend to all our friends to stay in Cozumel with you at Las Anclas and to dive with Blue Angel.
Hugs from Virginia from,
Gordon & Chris. January / 2003
Happy New Year!
Thanks again for everything. You have a lovely place and it made our stay that much more enjoyable. The little extras like the Christmas tree and gifts were really nice when spending the holidays away from home. You'll be highly recommended to anyone we know who is thinking of coming to Cozumel! Best wishes for 2003!
Debbie & Raymond, deBoer Canada. January / 2003
This has been our second stay at the Villas Las Anclas. We are very impressed by the lovely accommodations and the beautiful courtyard (always a restful place to be). Both Eyal and Pedro went out of their way to ensure our time in Cozumel would be special. We were treated more as friends than hotel guests. From our traveling experience that level of care is rarely seen. That is what makes Villas Las Anclas very special. All the best in the New Year.
Dave Schmidt & Kathleen Nadler, The Pas, Manitoba, Canada. January / 2003
Dearest Pedro & Eyal,
It was so great to see the both of you. Thank you so very much for the great vacation. Of course thank you to Alexandra and the crew at Blue Angel for the beautiful dives. In spite of all the cruise ships and tourists (of which we are 2), Villas Las Anclas adds to the charm of the island--a reflection of its owners. What an added treat to meet some of the family, never enough time it seems. We plan to return at the end of April or the beginning of May--we will let you know as soon as possible.
Love always,
Peter & Yvette, LA. January / 2003
Dear Eyal and Pedro
a quick message to say hello from Tony and Tina Johnson who stayed with you in January. We got home OK even though the ferry crossing that day was more than a little rough (as predicted by Pedro) What can we say.... Our stay at Villas Las Anclas made our holiday. The accommodation was superb and the friendliness and knowledge of you two guys just added that little something extra. We will definitely come back again - to Cozumel and to Las Anclas. Our e-mail address is (ON REQUEST) and if you wish to pass that on to anyone considering staying with you we would be happy to answer any questions and give a recommendation.
Take care and kind regards until we see you again

Your place is so beautiful, and the decorations are, superb!
Everything goes so well! But the best part of our stay was meeting you both!!!
What lovely hosts, even going out to dinner with us! We had really become fond of you!
We cannot wait until our next visit. May god be with you until we see you again!
Love,
Jane & Owen Kraus, California. December / 2002
Thank you so much for your hospitality. We had a lovely stay in your charming villa and we enjoyed sharing conversation and dinner during our last evening on the island. Please look us up if you are ever in Denver.
Alexander & Ivy, Denver. December / 2002
We have had a wonderful holiday thanks to you your kindness and hospitality. The way your hotel/villas are set up encouraging guests to get to know each other in a way that other hotels cannot match. When you add to that your unique way of interacting it encourages a sense of homeliness-even family. Were very sorry to leave, but we hope to keep in touch and come back as soon as we can. I am not going to go any more over the top about your hotel and your service, but suffice to say we had one of the best holidays of our lives. Thank you for everything. Have a very happy Christmas and continued successes. Well We will be keeping in touch whether you like it or not, so take care and have a great 2003,
love,
Maurice & Maria, Ireland. December / 2002
"Swept away at villas las Anclas" This is the story of a “chance” meeting of 4 souls in a Caribbean oasis.
The setting:
An inn anchored solidly amidst the chaos of consumptive cruisers, tequila excess and dive delusions. The characters:
- The distinguished Don Pedro, strong of character and of deed, a man of action, lover of art, justice and truth.
- The verbally armed Eyal with a weakness for sweets and a love of the sour-morning still, the death of Versace.
- The burly logger He-man of the north, with music in his name Glen Miller
- And Jackie Hildering – the petite, shy, ever-charming, (somewhat delusional) marine mammal.
The latter two were drawn by sources unknown, from an island afar, crossing a dangerous land, into the world of Pedro and “Al”. They had dared hope for comfort and warmth in their escape from the dark and the foil of daily life. The innkeepers aimed to offer a heaven to enhance experiences, recognizing how vacations are good for the soul but so very frail, so easily spoiled. The Canadians couples had their hearts filled: - awakening by exotic reptiles - remembered at Christmas - delivered a duck - diving designed - Advised, counseled, and stimulated. Such kindness such joy! They fully recognized what they had fallen into – a refuge where two enriched characters was making a difference in a world gone. Bounded by laughter and respect. Anchored together. We came as guests but leave…as friends. Till we meet again. Thank you!
Jackie & Glen, British Colombia Canada. December / 2002
Once again, we tremendously enjoyed our stay in Cozumel at the Villa Las Anclas. Your villas provide an oasis of tranquility in the heart of San Miguel. It is so nice to be close to the cultural center of town, yet to also have your privacy. Of course, your personalized style of hosting your guests made our experience more than just another stay. We will return. All the (---) best to you both in the new year.
Marlene & Gerald, Wylychenko, The Pas, MB Canada. December / 2002
Thank you for your wonderful hospitality during my stay, you set a high standard for the next time I visit in a city of fine Inns yours would stand out, In Cozumel it is an Oasis of hospitality and class.
See you again someday,
Brian Fenerty, PA. November / 2002
We hardly know where to begin in our thanks to both of you for a perfect visit at Villas Las Anclas! It always feels so much like home! In fact it was very hard to come home, life is way too complicated here! We have missed the leisurely garden breakfasts the lovely blossoming plants out of our window as we read away the afternoon, the scrumptious meals with both of you and the lively conversation! Thanks for everything from the Ceviche in your home to the dinners at Panchos Backyard (and Eyal for Bills birthday/anniversary extravaganza) and impeccably spotless rooms and garden to taking care of our every need! You are always welcome to come visit us here in Colorado!
Fondly, Linda Erickson & Bill Tucker. November / 2002
We just wanted to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you your hospitality is incredible. You helped make our honeymoon truly memorable...We did enjoy staying with you and we will definitely stay there again when we come back. It felt very much like home and both of us want to be back there and just stay forever. Hope to hear from you soon, I would love to stay in touch.
Paul & Darlene, Canada. November / 2002
Hey Eyal,
It was great as usual. Our stay was very quite and comfortable, just the way we wanted it. The diving was great and Jorge was awesome.... I hope everything went well with you guys up in Vegas. I hope we will be back there next year. Talk to you later and thanks again for everything.

Wayne-ous Dias Guys,
Well my friends, as always I had a wonderful time and it was to short!! It was very good to see both of you in good spirits and enjoying yourselves. I'm sorry I didn't get to say goodbye!! So I will have to make up for it by coming back very soon!! HA! Pam said I have to bring her next time and leave her there!!! HA! Thanks again for the wonderful stay, the hospitality, and breakfast in "The Big House"!
It's always a pleasure to talk with ya'll!!
Wayne. October / 2002
Thanks so much for the wonderful stay. Your kindness and generosity was greatly appreciated. I miss it there already! Thanks for the wonderful hospitality and fantastic villas. I really felt like I was 'coming home' every night, as your place is very warm and comfortable. Thanks too for the wonderful tip about Blue Angel Dive Shop, they too were wonderful and helped make my trip extra special. I can’t wait to return, I really feel like I have some new friends down south. Thanks a million! Hope you have a great time in Vegas. I'll be back in Coz in December for about 5 days.
Take care,
Tomas Zappala, San Francisco. October / 2002
Thank you once again for a wonderful stay at Las Anclas. My only complaint is the short time I had to spend in Cozumel and Las Anclas. Since my first visit to your villas in November I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Joe enjoyed his dives with Blue Angel and we are both looking forward to our next trip in December. Eyal, you saved the day when you loaned Joe your sandals and sent his out to be repaired. Take care and we'll see you again in December!
Jackie Adamski. October / 2002
Thank you for the wonderful stay with you. We cant stop talking about your hotel, your personal service, your friendship, the unbelievable diving, Pancho Backyard (romantic) and also being threatened by a hurricane (…) …we are already home sick (to cozumel). But we know that we will see you soon.
Warmest regards from,
Ron & Alan, NY. September / 2002
Dear Pedro
How are you? It’s Andrea & Cristina the two Italian guys that have spent one week in villa Girasols at Las Anclas villas! When we have left Cozumel you were in Merida so we couldn't say you many thanks for your kindness. We'll always remember our days in Las Anclas and of course we hope to come back someday (also to meet whale shark!!!). Let's keep us in contact! Best regards and thanks very much again.
Andrea & Cristina, Milan, Italy. August / 2002
Dear Eyal.
...I very much enjoyed my stay at Villas Las Anclas its quaintness, the beautiful courtyard, and meeting the other nice guests staying there and the interesting conversations and friendliness. I look forward to staying there again, soon.
Sincerely,
Donald Jansky, TX. August / 2002
Dear Pedro.
how are you? Did you have any damage to your home? (The hurricane) I hope not... mark and I had a great time at your hotel!! We want to come back to see you and stay really soon. I have told all of my friends and family about your hotel, how clean, close to downtown and how beautiful the gardens were. I hope this e-mail finds you well.
Your friend,
Margo Nilsson. August / 2002
Just thought I would send you a thank you for the great stay that Pam and I had at your Villas!! I've been coming to the Island for a long time and I didn't think I could be surprised anymore. But you did it!!! Pam and I love the Villas!! We didn't want to leave, so we'll be back at the end of July. Don't know what day yet. Pam is a High School teacher and a coach in a town called San Marcos and I think she has told the whole town. How are "Ricky and Lucy" the Iguanas! Pam says "Hi" and we hope to see you on July 20 or 27th.
Thanks again!
Wayne Ayer, Austin TX. April / 2002
Great to hear from you!! We have told everyone about our friends in Mexico and what a wonderful time we had staying on your island. We miss you both but hope to see you again!! It's cold and wet here in London at the moment; we envy you both living in the sun. Take care both of you and love from Clare.
Your friends in England,
Scott & Clare boocock. March / 2002
We just wanted to share our fond memories of our stay at Villas Las Anclas. We particularly appreciated our time with you and Pedro, especially the sense of humor you both have, the great meals and the movies. We will always remember the special Ceviche lunch and the wonderful hospitality you both showed us. Eyal, your work in the garden is really paying off. We both thought it was beautiful and provided a tranquil setting for our meals and conversations. And your knowledge of Cozumel is truly incredible. Pedro, your warm and caring nature helped make our stay feel more like being with old friends. We really enjoyed diving with your daughter Alexandra and you taking the time to answer our many questions. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Villas Las Anclas!
Bill Tucker & Linda Erickson, Highlands Ranch, Colorado. March / 2002
I did have a wonderful time as your guest this past week. Pedro & you are wonderful hosts and it was my honor to be your guest. Thank you both very much. You did everything possible to make my stay enjoyable. I would be happy to (as Pedro asked) recommend you to my friends and enemies. Also, I would love to stay there the next time I get to visit your beautiful island. If you are in Minnesota, let me know. You would be welcome guests in my home.
Sincerely,
Tim Keogh. February / 2002
I cant thank you enough for assisting us in our trip. We always seem to meet the nicest people in Cozumel and this trip was no different. We are looking forward to our next opportunity to visit the island. Next time we hope to bring our daughter along with us. We are going to try to make it back this summer if we can make the arrangements. Thanks so much for help us find the more authentic aspects Cozumel has to offer. We enjoyed your daughters dive service and will be using here from now on. We look forward to enjoying your hospitality again.

Thank you for providing us with such a wonderful villa for our recent stay in Cozumel. You two are the best and not only do we wish to make a standing reservation for two (2) villas for every Carnival season; we will be recommending all our friends to do the same.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. I really enjoyed the hotel and you were both so nice and a pleasure to spend time with. I've only been home one day and already I'm counting the days till my next visit. See you both in April!

This is an article I wrote for our dive club newsletter. ...One last thing about the trip is my strong recommendation for the Hotel Villa Las Anclas. This place is a gated compound of suites just a block off the plaza in the town of San Miguel. It is owned and operated by Pedro and Eyal and caters to divers. There is a rinse tank and secure area to hang and dry gear. Pedro and Eyal are attentive and gracious hosts. They seem genuinely interested in you and how your trip is going. They stop by to ask about your day and answer any questions you may have about Cozumel from diving to restaurants to nightlife. In a town where you can spend $250 a night and more, Villa Las Anclas is a bargain at $50 a night. Dive packages can be combined with Blue Angel. All in all a very enjoyable trip.
Take care,

Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality and service while we where staying at Villas Las Anclas. Our visit to Cozumel was made even more memorable by the memories we talk away with us. Meeting the parents, enjoying the wonderful food and relaxing after along day of diving was not quiet as good as seeing you. We laughed with you and were sad to live. We hope to see you again soon.

Hey Eyal,
this is Randy, Just wanted to send you an email to let you know that I had a great time in Cozumel. I thought your place was the best place we stayed at on our whole trip. The service was the best. The place is beautiful and has gotten tons of compliments from all the pictures that I took of it. I have tons of friends that I have told to go there if they ever decide to visit Cozumel. Well my friend thanks again for your great service and your friendship... I shall be returning hopefully within a few months to take a few dives out there.
Thank you,

We had such a nice stay with you last week and have been bragging about the special treatment you showed us, and your hospitality. We hope to make a yearly trip to Cozumel and you can bet we will be staying with you. Good luck with your new business, I know you will make it successful. You have a lot of good ideas and a great attitude.

I hope that this reaches you. Just wanted to tell you what a great time we had on your lovely island. You both took such good care of us we truly felt like family. We went to dinner at Guido's our last night and loved it. Thanks again for the lovely stay, hope to see you again soon.

I just wanted to tell you what a wonderful time we had staying at Villa Las Anclas. I have been telling all of my friends and co-workers how special you made us feel and what wonderful hospitality you provide. I have traveled to a few places, but have never felt so much like a "Queen." You definitely make Cozumel a fine attraction. I have several friends who are divers and I am recommending you to them for their next trip. My sister and her husband are very interested in staying with you also. I just can't say enough good things about our trip. I have been smiling all week and remembering what a good time we had.
Denise, Suzan and I really had "the time of our lives."
